|
| | Price Range $45-$180 | | Roof Rack Mounted Surfboard, Canoe and Kayak Racks | | |
The Good: The most cost effective way to carry boats with a car, van, wagon or SUV. Requires a base rack system. If you do not have one, spoil yourself and allow our staff to assist you. Going off the roof really becomes the only option other than pulling a sport trailer with the cars listed above.

The Bad: Expensive option.

The Bottom Line: Your options are endless when carrying any boat on your vehicle. If you are not 100% sure what you need, we strongly suggest to call this order in.

| | | | | | | | | | Price Range $63-$180 | | Factory Crossbar Mounted Surf, and Kayak Racks | | |
The Good: If you have a factory crossbars attached to your factory rack, then this is a great option for 1 boat (a few racks allow you to carry 2 boats). This is currently Yakimas and Thules #1 selling accessory. Everything is included in the box and it works with 97% of the factory crossbars on the market. Drop this one right into your shopping cart or have it installed at one of our stores.

The Bad: Limited use, great for one boat, but if you plan on carrying multiple boats, we strongly suggest a trailer, truck rack or a stronger Yakima, Inno or Thule base rack with longer bars.

The Bottom Line: Can not beat the price for carrying one boat on your factory crossbars.

| | | | | | | | | | Price Range $150-$499 | | Truck Racks for Kayak, Canoe and Surboards | | |
The Good: If you are the project oriented, recreational person and need just an inexpensive light duty truck rack to carry your boats, then choose between a Yakima or Thule truck rack system and add the water sport attachments that you prefer.

The Bad: These options do not work if you have a camper shell. Please consult with our staff for great options if you do have camper shell.

The Bottom Line: No camper shell, a few boats, limited funds, a truck…great option!

| | | | | | | | | | See all Watersports Trailers | | Watersports Trailers | | |
The Good: Our fastest growing category! They carry boats, gear and more. You can stand the trailers up on end when not in use and they plug right into your receiver hitch. If boating is your favorite past time, what better way to transport boats than on a trailer. Ground level loading and unloading. We also rent these trailers.

The Bad: You need a hitch to pull them. Requires a little experience when backing up and the cost per boat can be a little expensive.

The Bottom Line: If you make frequent trips to lakes or rivers, there is no better option for loading and unloading your boats. You can leave the boats on the trailer for storage if you choose.
