Manager: Pam DeLuca

San Rafael, Walnut Creek and Sacramento District Manager Pam DeLuca started her career with Rack N Road in 1999. Pam, who was born in the Philippines and grew up in Colorado, was attending art school in Seattle when she started out with Rack N Road. She currently resides in San Rafael with her dog Shasta. She enjoys snowboarding, rock climbing and golf. When not playing hard, she’s been hard at work managing the San Rafael store since 2005. An already skilled master installation tech, she has now become a leader in great customer service and truly believes that taking care of the customer is her number one priority. Though still an artist, she now creates beautiful works of art in the form of custom rack systems, strong customer relationships and cargo management!

Travelers: Shannon Presson
  Origin: Oakland, CA
Destination: Sun Valley, Idaho

There is no such thing as a bad road trip if you are dogs. The intrepid Sparty (75 lb. Australian Shephard/Akita Mix) looks forward to another great adventure in the Sawtooth Mountains while his trusty canine companion, Tahoe,(The Big White Dog) rests comfortably in the back. Their human has fully outfitted the "mobile dog house" with foam cargo beds, Thule rooftop carrier (important for holding all that dog food), Thule bike rack (for energy saving backroad exploring) and most important, heated car seats for those chilly mornings in the high country!

Product of choiceThe Thule Evolution cargo box is the best invention since sliced bread. It goes on and comes off in a snap, it holds a ton of stuff and it looks good on my car! Matched up with my Thule Bike rack and my Rack and Road locking trailer hitch pin, The "Boys" (Sparty and Tahoe) and I can get lost in the backwoods for weeks!! C-Ya!
