Roof Mounted Ski and Snowboard Racks
Price Range $89-$299
Roof Mounted Ski and Snowboard Racks
The Good:  The roof is the best and most popular place to carry your ski or snowboard racks. Easy to use and keeps your ski's and snowboards cleaner than a hitch mounted ski rack.

The Bad: The only negative is if your vehicle is too tall for you to reach to the top easily.

The Bottom Line: Ideal if you already use an aftermarket base rack from brands such as Yakima or Thule, or you just need a dedicated pure ski rack for that "naked roof of yours. Carrying your skis off the roof is the Rack N Road's most popular option.

Factory Mounted Ski-Snowboard Racks
Price Range $99-$299
Factory Mounted Ski-Snowboard Racks
The Good: These ski and snowboard racks attach directly to your factory crossbars or raised rails that came included on your vehicle. Includes everything you need right out of the box.

The Bad: Once you attach the ski rack to your factory roof rack, it does not leave room for other options. If you upgrade your factory rack with a multi-sport rack, it allows you to carry your ski, snowboard racks and other items at the same time.

The Bottom Line: You finally get to take advantage of that factory roof rack you bought when you got that new vehicle. We sell over 6,000 of these a year! It is an all-inclusive option that works with 97% of all factory roof racks right out of the box. Feel comfortable dropping this into your shopping cart or spoil yourself at one of our stores.

Rear Mounted Ski and Snowboard Racks
Price Range $179 - $560
Rear Mounted Ski and Snowboard Racks
The Good: If your vehicle is too tall, we suggest you choose going off the back. If you already own a receiver trailer hitch mounted bike rack from Yakima, Thule or BVG, you can add their ski rack directly to bike rack.

The Bad: Only go off the back if you can not go off the top. Ski and snowboard racks get dirty while transporting them to the mountains. The ski rack attachments work with receiver hitch bike racks and can be an expensive option if you do not already own one.

The Bottom Line: Keep the bikes off the back and the ski and snowboard racks off the top.
