San Rafael Manager Pam DeLuca started her career with Rack N Road in 1999. Pam, who grew up in Colorado, was attending art school in Seattle when she started out with Rack N Road. She currently resides in San Rafael with her dog Shasta. She enjoys snowboarding, rock climbing and golf. When not playing hard, she’s been hard at work managing the San Rafael store since 2005. An already skilled master installation tech, she has now become a leader in great customer service and truly believes that taking care of the customer is her number one priority. Though still an artist, she now creates beautiful works of art in the form of custom rack systems, strong customer relationships and cargo management!

Rack n Road San Rafael reviews on Yelp!

Jamie D. - Sausalito, CA

A hitch rack for my bike was my first experience here & it was so excellent I returned years later for a roof rack surfboard carrier & Thule lock box. From the friendly sales staff to the amazing installers, my cargo & I couldn't be happier!

Chris B. - San Francisco, CA

Thinking of getting a rack and box for your vehicle? Try before you buy. Russ was great! Very helpful and knowledgeable. We bought the rack after we rented the box and rack. You can always rent the box again later. My daughter liked seeing the dogs in the shop. All in all, very friendly and helpful. Overall great experience.

David W. - Tiburon, CA

Another 5 star for Rack n Road. I stopped in today to look at hitch racks and the sales guy was awesome at explaining the differences between the racks as well as the brands. He also threw in the 10% online discount without telling me (thanks!). It's just a shame that there's not more reasons to shop there. The two house dogs were an awesome touch to keep me occupied while the rack was assembled

Ya'all got to check out the botinacal gardens in Fort Bragg. We took a little vacation out to see my mama in California, and took a side trip to the gardens. It was so pretty. I can't really remember how to get there, but I know it was off that main highway near the ocean. We had lunch there and they'all had this home made sccops of ice cream. I'll definitely remember this trip!

Product of choiceWe got a rental car in San Franciso and this shop that had racks and suich and let us use one of those gear top containers. I thought you had to buy them, but Hertz rent a car said there was a place in off the freeway, in San Rafael, that rented the boxes. They were real nice and made our trip so much more comfortable. I wish they had these travel type shops out where we lived.

No one had a rack for my car. These guys did a custom install and I can finally carry my bikes. Definitely a must if you live in the N. Bay.

Product of choiceYakima custom track install. I like the steelheads and the wind fairing to keep the noise down.

Go camping at China Camp. I go there because it gives me a chance to get out of the city and enjoy Marin and the outdoor beauty it offers. The guys at RackN'Road hooked me up with Thule basket so I could haul as much as I needed to - In order to get from point A to point B. I've explored so may camping sites from China Camp to Jug Handle State Reserve. Even took a trip up to Oregon.

Product of choiceThule for sure! Used to have a Playpen basket, but just recently bought a MOAB. Definitely the Mother of ALL Baskets!! These guys are so busy, and the wait at the shop was crazy!!! - But worth it.

My friends and I go camping at Clear Lake every summer. This year I decided to get fixed up with some racks so I could take my bikes. It was perfect because there are several bike trails around the camp site and having my bikes helped us get around.

Product of choiceThule bars with Cargo Box. V2 bike mounts to fit bikes.

Snowshoeing in South Lake! It just dumped and my roommates and I went to Echo Summit Sno-Park. The cool thing was that we were able to take the dog. There aren't that many places that will allow you to do that! We hiked all around, our favorites were the Upper Meadow Trail (more difficult) and the Rock Garden Loop (easiest). If your into outdoor activities for all abilites and enjoy the company of your dog - This is the place to go. Parking was $10 for the whole day, so bring a picnic lunch or small bbq to grill out!

Product of choiceTHULE Atlantis 1600. Perfect size for my WRX.
