Everyone has experienced those times when you own a specific tool or gadget that can do a job perfectly, but find that you don't have it when you most need it. It's got to be one of the worst feelings ever. I made up my mind about getting a hitch cargo carrier since the one incident when I picked up a giant stack of free firewood one night and left it sitting in my 4Runner overnight. The next morning, I found slug tracks all over the inside of the car, since the wood had been left on the ground for awhile and had slugs crawling on it... disgusting. When I went looking for carriers, I knew immediately that the Everythere was the one, because I could simply fold it up and put it in the back of the 4Runner. So instead of collecting dust in the garage, it's always there, ready to rock. Whether I'm expecting to use it or not.
