This position is responsible for managing their respective location for Rack N Road/ Sports Rack in an efficient and profitable manner. The Store Manager works primarily with the District Manager to ensure the profitable growth of their individual location (including attainment of Volume, Margin and Net Profit goals). Responsible to Hire, Orient, Train, Coach, Evaluate, Discipline and if necessary Terminate employees. Must also maintain the store in proper physical condition at all times. Also, the Store Manager, must provide the necessary planning, organization, direction, coordination, delegation, and control to support all store functions as outlined by the company.

Assistant Store Manager

Outfitter Pro
This position is responsible to provide outstanding service to each and every custmer, which includes but is not limited to selling and installing vehicle outfitting products and accessories and rsolving customer concerns. This position will assist the store manager in their respective location to ensure the profitable growth of the store and company.

I started working here 10 years ago; I became the manager a year later. I have been in retail since 1980 and Rack N Road does what you are supposed to do in retail. We take care of the customer. I think customer service is the most important responsibility to my job and Bauer Inds. agrees with me. I owned my own business in the 80s and I thought I gave excellent customer service. I think we, "Rack N Road" ,have brought customer service to a whole new level. We have customers that have been coming in here almost since I started. We have ongoing relationships with most of our customers. We have worked on 3 or more cars of the same family. As soon as they get a new vehicle, they come see us to get it outfitted. We also have very little turn over, so I have worked with the same group of coworkers for many years. I think customers like seeing the same faces. I am allowed to treat this business as if it was my own. It is hard work but a lot of fun. Every day is different.

There are a few things I like about working at RackNRoad, and they all kind of tie into each other. No day at RackNRoad is exactly the same as any other day. It is always different, so it never gets boring. The people I work with are fun to be around and we are all willing to help each other out.
